General Overview

The role of the Healthcare Customer Service Coordinator is vital to the smooth operation of our physician practices. These coordinators are essential in providing administrative support and ensuring that our teams deliver an outstanding experience that surpasses patient expectations.

We seek customer service experts who excel in multitasking, prioritizing, and thriving in a fast-paced outpatient environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prior to patient appointments, the Healthcare Customer Service Coordinator is responsible for scheduling visits and obtaining necessary authorizations from insurance providers for specific procedures.

During patient visits, the focus is on check-in procedures, which include welcoming patients, addressing their inquiries, and assisting with any required pre-visit documentation.

At the end of each visit, during check-out, coordinators complete necessary forms, collect co-payments, and schedule follow-up appointments or additional tests.

Additional responsibilities include managing incoming calls, directing inquiries appropriately, monitoring patient flow, and providing support to practice leadership and clinical staff.
