Job Title: New Business Manager

At US Foods, we're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven New Business Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for sourcing and developing profitable new business opportunities that can be transitioned to our Territory Managers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue high-potential new business opportunities that align with our sales and profit operating plans.
  • Develop and execute business plans to capture and penetrate market share within our division's footprint.
  • Collaborate with Territory Managers to ensure a smooth handover of new accounts and provide strategic support to drive growth.
  • Utilize Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to focus on opening new accounts, sales dollars, and gross profit dollars.
  • Research and analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activity to inform business decisions.
  • Work with Category and Segment Specialists to create order guides and pricing for prospective accounts.
  • Maintain a pipeline of new, emerging high-potential clients and ensure effective onboarding processes.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of opening accounts greater than $0.5m.
  • Exceptional sales and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and drive business growth.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present to large groups.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
