Account Development Manager

At US Foods, we're seeking a highly skilled Account Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining existing accounts through personal visits and follow-up. Your primary goal will be to achieve annual sales plans through growth and penetration of existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute account growth strategies to drive sales and revenue growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences
  • Present new ideas and products to customers to secure account penetration and loyalty
  • Manage product mix to maximize profit goals and contract compliance
  • Communicate with customers to apprise them of mutual performance, new products, programs, and market trends
Requirements:
  • High school diploma with a minimum of three years of relevant experience required; Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of three years of sales and distribution experience required (foodservice industry or related preferred)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as customer service and presentation abilities
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and negotiation skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint)
