Job Summary

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding customer relationships in the Northeast region. This role requires a strong understanding of the electrical T&D marketplace and the ability to develop and maintain account plans for major clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing and prospective customers
  • Develop and maintain account plans to meet revenue goals and customer needs
  • Make presentations to customers and prospective customers on Matrix's products and services
  • Travel frequently to solicit inquiries and follow up on current projects
  • Use and maintain the company CRM system for account and opportunity management
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of sales, marketing, or business development experience in the T&D construction industry
  • Advanced interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical information, financial reports, and legal documents
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office and CRM software
