Position Summary:
The Retail Activation Coordinator (RAC) plays a crucial role in ensuring product availability and visual merchandising aligns with Coca-Cola standards across designated territories. Responsibilities include managing cold box and ambient product placements, constructing displays, updating point-of-sale materials, and maintaining an organized product environment. The RAC is committed to delivering exceptional customer service through effective communication, problem-solving, and diligent follow-up with all stakeholders involved in the program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Execution in Local Market (90%):
    • Promote and merchandise additional cases on displays to enhance retail space.
    • Implement new displays to increase market share and product availability.
    • Secure new facings for assigned brands to boost market presence and sales volume.
    • Deploy point-of-sale materials to elevate brand visibility in accounts.
    • Address stock shortages for brands through additional sales floor displays.
    • Visit accounts to merchandise products and expand distribution through new displays.
    • Identify high-traffic display opportunities while upholding brand merchandising standards.
    • Collaborate with the Field Sales Manager to review territory coverage plans weekly, ensuring that routes encompass accounts where objectives can be met.
  • Communication and Review (10%):
    • Document a minimum of 35 account interactions weekly using Repsly.
    • Log 40 working hours weekly via Repsly.
    • Participate actively in weekly team meetings.
    • Evaluate weekly and monthly key performance indicators with the Field Sales Manager.
    • Manage budget effectively through bi-weekly expense report submissions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver's License and a vehicle for daily travel within the assigned territory.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours to accommodate outlet and bottler needs.
  • Experience in consumer packaged goods or beverage sales/marketing is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills are essential.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach is required.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are necessary.
  • Ability to represent Coca-Cola passionately and enthusiastically.
  • Strong marketing and negotiation skills are required.
  • Proficient in networking and engaging with diverse groups.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with all members of the sales and brand teams.
  • Strong business acumen, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Capability to leverage opportunities across multiple resources.
  • Willingness to travel out of state may be necessary.

Essential Physical Functions:

  • Effective communication in person, over the phone, and through email.
  • Observation of customer behavior and interactions.
  • Data entry and information retrieval on a computer.
  • Creation of documents and reports to track progress and success.
  • Ability to lift and carry weights exceeding 40 lbs.
  • Capability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to transport point-of-sale materials and merchandising equipment.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Annual Salary: $60,000
  • Monthly Auto Allowance: $500
  • Monthly Communication Allowance: $150
  • Monthly Wellness Benefit: $50
