Position Overview

Gain invaluable experience by leading a retail team within a healthcare environment. This 9-week paid internship is designed for interns to learn effective strategies for managing and inspiring a store team. You will develop sales and operational plans, gain insights into staffing and employee development, and learn the intricacies of running a purposeful retail operation. The internship includes field travel days, career spotlight sessions, and a Capstone Project. These activities focus on management and leadership principles, collaboration with support teams such as human resources and asset protection, and making a meaningful impact in the communities served by our stores. This program is tailored for participants to cultivate their leadership skills while expanding their professional network.

Essential Qualifications

  • Applicants must be enrolled as full-time or part-time undergraduate students at an accredited college or university, holding Junior or Senior standing, and pursuing a degree in Business or Liberal Arts. Candidates with equivalent community college credits in these fields, along with 2+ years of retail experience, will also be considered.
  • Availability to work 35 hours per week throughout the internship on a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends, is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of retail experience or similar experience in a dynamic work environment.
  • Previous leadership experience is preferred, along with an interest in pursuing a career in retail management.

Educational Requirements

Candidates must be enrolled as full-time or part-time undergraduate students at an accredited college or university, with Junior or Senior standing, and pursuing a degree in Business or Liberal Arts. Those with equivalent community college credits in these disciplines, coupled with 2+ years of retail experience, will also be eligible.
