Position Summary:

The Parts Sales Specialist assists customers in selecting the necessary parts, both in-person and over the phone, ensuring they are informed about delivery timelines and associated costs. This role involves accurately processing retail and wholesale parts transactions while addressing customer inquiries promptly. The Parts Sales Specialist aims to leave a positive impression on every customer regarding their parts experience.

This position offers a commission-based income potential ranging from $40,000 to $60,000 annually.

  • You can manage a fast-paced work environment.
  • You demonstrate a strong sense of urgency.
  • Willingness to work every other Saturday is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in selecting the required parts, suggest complementary items, and inform them of current promotions.
  • Retrieve purchased parts from inventory.
  • If an item is out of stock, check availability and place special orders as requested by customers.
  • Handle phone inquiries, providing pricing information and other relevant details.
  • Prepare orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
  • Regularly review 'will call' and 'back-order' files, returning items to vendors or restocking as necessary.
  • Support Service Technicians in identifying parts needed for ongoing repairs.
  • Order parts not in stock after consulting with a service advisor.
  • Process returns and ensure the original invoice or its number is available for verification.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in both front and rear counter areas.
  • Collaborate with the Parts Manager to maintain a Lost Sale Tracking program.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
