A "plumb line" is a tool used to ensure that structures are straight and true. It serves as an objective measure against which one can assess their work.
Our "plumb line"—our benchmark for integrity—consists of doing what is genuine, equitable, and upright. These principles permeate every aspect of Plumbline Services, guiding our hiring practices and, most importantly for you, our daily operations.
Responsibilities
What Will You Do?
- Prior experience in direct consumer sales, particularly in phone sales.
- Excellent communication and telephone skills.
- Familiarity with and experience in a commission-only role.
- Availability to work five days a week, with Saturdays preferred.
- Working hours from 10 AM to 7 PM or 11 AM to 8 PM, with a one-hour lunch break.
- Maintain a daily log of calls and categorize them by department and type.
- Keep a daily record of sales to cross-reference with Service Titan.
- Engage in regular communication with department managers to identify key areas of need and missed opportunities, tracking which technician or salesperson generates the most revenue recovery.
- Document and report any client issues, creating tasks for department managers if action is required.
Do You Have What It Takes?
- A minimum of two years of cold calling experience.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong outbound phone communication skills.
- Proficient in written communication and computer skills.
- Highly self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed.
