Sales Support Engineer Job Summary

The Sales Support Engineer will play a crucial role in assisting the sales team by providing technical expertise and solutions to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and expertise to the sales team and customers.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical proposals, quotations, and product specifications.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to customers.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and technical issues.
  • Support the sales team in identifying and developing new business opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • 2-5 years of successful applications engineering/sales support experience in an industrial environment, preferably in pumps, instrumentation, valves, and flow control products
  • Proficient with computers and working knowledge of Windows operating systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), CRM systems, ERP systems, valve and pump sizing programs
  • Heat trace experience
  • Proven performance in sales, self-motivated, proficient delegator, team builder, highly energetic and have a positive outlook
