About the Role:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will collaborate closely with the Zen Educate Teacher Success Team. This position emphasizes the onboarding of prospective educators and aligning candidates with specific school requirements. The role involves a high volume of communication with applicants throughout the day to facilitate their placement in teaching positions.

Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Engaging with teachers registering on Zen Educate to efficiently qualify them, understand their preferences, and arrange interviews if they meet our criteria.
  • Conducting preliminary phone interviews to evaluate candidates' suitability for available roles.
  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of candidates' preferences while identifying the most fitting positions.
  • Promoting Zen Educate's mission and the support we provide in securing ideal roles for educators.
  • Assisting candidates through our screening and documentation process, ensuring timely follow-ups for those needing additional support.
  • Creating a sense of urgency and enthusiasm when interacting with applicants to expedite their onboarding with Zen Educate.
  • Adapting to a dynamic startup environment that requires flexibility and responsiveness to change.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience in customer service or sales; experience in tech sales or recruitment is highly advantageous.
  • A commitment to proactive outreach to educators on a daily basis.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate self-motivation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort with technology, including proficiency in Google Suite.
