Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to the Business Services Bureau. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining department calendars, composing correspondence, and maintaining files and literature.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Business Services Bureau, including maintaining department calendars and scheduling.
  • Compose general correspondence for the Bureau, ensuring correct format and punctuation.
  • Maintain Bureau files, literature, samples, and reference material.
  • Be proficient with various software applications, including MS Word, Excel, and Adobe Pro-Forms.
  • Perform special research verification and data-gathering projects upon request.
  • Ensure the Bureau's office, print, and copy center areas are maintained and organized to ensure timely turnaround times.
  • Produce weekly billing of services provided by the Bureau for printing and copy center projects.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • 1-3 years of related experience.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Knowledge of administrative office procedures, including using standard office equipment.
  • Proficient experience in various software applications, including Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Microsoft 365.
  • High-level interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented in composing and proofing materials.
  • Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines.
