Role Summary

The 3D Imaging Project Manager will lead and manage 3D Imaging initiatives, ensuring the execution of all related activities while developing tailored project execution strategies. This role involves the deployment of cutting-edge technologies in alignment with the company’s objectives and will provide integrated solutions to the challenges prevalent in today’s facilities management landscape. Responsibilities will also include operating LiDAR technology and generating Point Cloud files, along with supporting Operations and Marketing in 3D Imaging endeavors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Management: Develop and implement processes for 3D Imaging projects, including detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones. Monitor progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Technology Deployment: Oversee the application of 3D laser scanning technology, operate LiDAR equipment, and facilitate the use of 3D models for project estimations.
  • Project Oversight: Ensure the production of high-quality animations and renders for project proposals, maintaining efficiency and high standards in all 3D Imaging activities.
  • Client Interaction: Engage with clients to maintain open lines of communication and gather feedback, while assessing challenges in 3D Imaging implementation.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work alongside internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with Federal and DoD IT/IS requirements, integrating 3D Imaging solutions with existing infrastructures.
  • Budget and Resource Allocation: Develop and manage project-specific budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation to meet project demands.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of project activities and prepare regular status reports, including performance metrics and compliance updates.
  • Quality Control: Implement quality assurance measures to ensure project deliverables meet established standards, conducting regular reviews and audits of processes and outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.
  • Professional licensure is preferred but not mandatory with relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years in architecture, engineering, or construction sectors, with at least 5 years as a BIM professional.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong understanding of BIM and CAD principles.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk software, particularly Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with USACE and DoD software is advantageous.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development in imaging and BIM technologies.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and a strong grasp of virtual design and construction management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background check.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work for extended periods at a desk and on a computer.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for project requirements.
  • Capability to lift 30-50 pounds occasionally.
