Key Responsibilities:

  • Administers and oversees on-site programs to meet the needs of the school community.
  • Collaborates with school administrators to align services with identified student needs.
  • Participates in School Support Service meetings to enhance program effectiveness.
  • Implements a restorative approach to student behavior management.
  • Develops and manages data collection and program evaluation initiatives.
  • Submits monthly reports to the Director of School-Based Programs.
  • Coordinates requests for educational prevention services.
  • Maintains accurate records in compliance with agency and funding requirements.
  • Conducts outreach and disseminates information to the community.
  • Facilitates immediate support and response to student needs.
  • Delivers evidence-based prevention education programs, including asset-building groups and research-informed curricula.
  • Engages in activities that promote asset development and risk reduction.
  • Provides alternatives to suspension, including assessments and transitional support.
  • Acts as an ambassador for the agency at various community events and meetings.
  • Possesses a thorough understanding of school policies and procedures.
  • Researches and designs services, tracking outcomes and impacts.
  • Maintains resource files, lesson plans, and training materials.
  • Participates in supervision and mandatory training sessions.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or a related field, along with 1-3 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A Master's Degree or advanced training in related areas is preferred. A valid driver's license is required.
