Currently, we are looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO I) to become part of our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate, prepare, and revise AIS authorization documentation.
  • Inform stakeholders of any changes that may impact AIS authorization.
  • Conduct self-assessments of AIS, ensuring security coordination and thorough review of all system testing protocols.
  • Identify vulnerabilities within AIS and implement effective countermeasures.
  • Act as a representative for the customer in various technical review and inspection teams.
  • Carry out security assessments at subordinate facilities and compile necessary security documentation for system authorization.
  • Coordinate, prepare, and monitor AIS inspections, reports, and responses.
  • Maintain comprehensive AIS security records and draft Co-Utilization Agreements for network nodes operating in government environments.
  • Generate reports detailing the status of security measures applied to computer systems.
  • Ensure that AIS and network nodes are operated, maintained, and disposed of in compliance with security policies and practices.
  • Perform ISSO duties to support both internal and external clients.
  • Assist Department of Defense, National Agency, and Contractor organizations in developing assessment and authorization (A&A) efforts.
  • Review, track, and deliver AIS training.
Essential Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (4 years).
  • Must fulfill position and certification requirements as outlined in DoD Directive M for IAT L1 or IAM L1 within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with current security policies and manuals.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and effectively collaborate with various DOD, military/civilian personnel, and industry partners.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Exhibit a high degree of originality, creativity, and initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel within the organizational geographic Area of Responsibility (AOR), which may involve extensive air and ground transportation.
Security Clearance Requirements:
  • Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
  • Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information.
  • Willingness to undergo a Counterintelligence polygraph.
Physical Requirements:
  • Occasional movement within the office to access files and office equipment.
  • Frequent communication with colleagues, management, and clients, which may involve delivering presentations and exchanging accurate information.
  • Regular operation of a computer and other office productivity machinery.
The projected compensation range for this position is $77,000-$129,200, influenced by factors such as relevant work experience, skills, geographic location, education, and certifications.
