Job Overview

Position Summary

  • Collaborate closely with system architects and fellow developers to devise effective solutions for security-related challenges.
  • Prioritize Quality & Security at every phase of development, including Unit Testing, Validation, and Automation of deliverables.
  • Guarantee exceptional security, reliability, availability, performance, and scalability of the systems.
  • Proven experience in addressing genuine security concerns, along with expertise in system architecture, design, testing, and implementation.
  • Identify security vulnerabilities within system components or network devices and propose innovative solutions.
  • Offer technical guidance for integrating requirements, design, and technology.
  • Proficient in managing Secure Linux-based servers, troubleshooting Linux boot issues, and applying necessary resolutions.
  • Create documentation and reports to support system requirements and security certifications, and contribute to white papers.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Linux OS security processes, challenges, and intricacies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • At least 8 years of experience in Linux system administration, with a specific focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
  • Extensive knowledge of system security practices, proficiency in SELinux, and firewall configurations.
  • Implement SELinux policies to enhance system security.
  • Hands-on experience with SELinux deployment and policy management.
  • Assess system security using established controls (e.g., SELinux).
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills, adept at resolving complex system issues efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with remote teams.
  • Possession of certifications in RHEL (RHCE, RHCSA), Red Hat Certified Specialist in Security: Linux, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Training in SELinux is required.
  • Experience with RHEL: 8 years (Required)
  • Experience with SELinux: 3 years (Required)
  • Experience with Virtualization: 3 years (Required)
  • Experience with Containerization: 3 years (Required)
