Job Overview

We are in search of a dedicated professional with a Secret Clearance, Security + Certification, and a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator within the federal sector to take on the role of Senior Systems Administrator.

As a Senior Systems Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing, managing, and troubleshooting network security measures.
  • Applying software updates with the latest security enhancements and ensuring adequate defenses for each network asset.

A typical week for a Senior Systems Administrator may involve:

  • Conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, identifying and mitigating threats, and formulating disaster recovery strategies.
  • Configuring security systems, evaluating security needs, and suggesting enhancements.
  • Monitoring network activity for any suspicious actions.
  • Establishing network policies and access controls to protect against unauthorized alterations and breaches.
  • Setting up and maintaining security tools, including firewalls and antivirus solutions.
Job Requirements
  • Secret security clearance is mandatory.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Systems Security Administrator.
  • A High School Diploma is required; an Associate's Degree is preferred.
  • Security+ certification or an equivalent credential is required.
