Job Overview

Unit Description:

The Lead Manager, Audio Visual Services is responsible for overseeing AV and technical performance across various venues, ensuring an exceptional audio-visual experience. This role encompasses providing comprehensive audio-visual and IT support to multiple facilities, ensuring that all technical elements function seamlessly. The Lead Manager, Audio Visual Services reports directly to the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all AV and IT requirements for hospitality venues, including setup and breakdown of events, tenant transitions, and support for clients, attendees, and members.
  • Work closely with event coordinators and operational teams to guarantee flawless AV and IT execution during events, addressing client inquiries and special requests.
  • Maintain high-speed and secure internet connectivity throughout all locations, including the configuration of customer Wi-Fi networks and other client-specific arrangements.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and enhancements during the planning stages to generate additional revenue.
  • Ensure all audio-visual equipment, such as sound systems, projectors, screens, and lighting, are properly maintained and operational for both events and daily use, including regular inspections and coordinating repairs with vendors.
  • Organize specialized AV services beyond standard on-site offerings as needed.
  • Collaborate with network maintenance and Wi-Fi vendors to ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction.
  • Promote a positive work culture and provide leadership to ensure outstanding hospitality and service delivery to clients, attendees, and members.
  • Oversee the functionality of access controls and credentials.
  • Ensure the proper operation of golf simulators and coordinate necessary repairs.
  • Assist in maintaining the functionality of the building app, working with ownership to implement continuous improvements.
  • Step in to perform operational tasks in areas where staffing is not yet complete or when backfilling is necessary.

Qualifications:

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Basic Management Experience - 3 years.

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years of experience in audio-visual or technical support or a related field.
