The Aspenwood Company is seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Concierge/Front Desk/Security associate at our esteemed Independent Living community. This position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, with a focus on providing exceptional service to our residents and visitors.

Part-Time Schedule:
Saturday & Sunday | 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.

Availability to work weekends and holidays is essential.

The Concierge plays a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving as the first point of contact for residents, families, prospective residents, guests, and staff. Candidates must exhibit professionalism, friendliness, attention to detail, and a commitment to promptly addressing inquiries. A passion for working with seniors and an understanding of the challenges associated with aging are crucial.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor and assist with all incoming public traffic, addressing questions and concerns.
  • Greet guests and residents with warmth and courtesy, ensuring a clean and orderly environment.
  • Respond promptly to the needs of residents, families, vendors, and visitors, providing immediate assistance.
  • Support the sales and marketing team by managing inquiries in alignment with company strategies.
  • Follow concierge schedules and instructions from supervisors, adhering to established policies.
  • Assist with meal ticket sales and other service requests for guests and employees.
  • Operate the paging and telephone systems as required.
  • Answer calls, determine their nature, and relay information or route calls appropriately.
  • Assist with maintenance requests through paper or electronic systems.
  • Monitor emergency calls, doors, and alarms, responding according to established protocols.
  • May provide transportation for residents to appointments or events.
  • Assist in scheduling interviews for job applicants with department heads.
  • Track the movement of residents and guests within the community.
  • Participate as a member of the community's emergency response team.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to personal hygiene standards as per company policies.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in various environments.
  • Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs and climbing stairs or ladders as needed.
  • Assist with special projects or tasks as assigned.
  • Monitor for suspicious behavior and prevent vandalism or theft, ensuring a safe environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Prior experience in customer service, front desk operations, and telephone etiquette preferred.
  • Valid Texas Driver's License is required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, sound judgment, and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and basic Excel.
