Position Overview

This Security Officer role is essential for maintaining the safety and security of key locations, personnel, vendors, visitors, and the general public. We are seeking Security Officers for full-time, part-time, and flexible shifts, including night and weekend availability. This position involves enforcing security protocols across one or multiple sites and collaborating with team members to mitigate potential risks. Each incident must be thoroughly investigated and documented.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish a visible security presence to identify and deter potential threats.
  • Conduct various patrols—fixed, mobile, or on foot—while remaining vigilant and making informed decisions based on established protocols.
  • Act as a first line of defense against active threats and unauthorized individuals.
  • Monitor for unusual conditions that may pose security or safety risks.
  • Manage access control and oversee entrances, exits, and surrounding areas.
  • Conduct traffic control as necessary while monitoring vehicular and pedestrian movement.
  • Identify and report violations of rules and regulations.
  • Maintain a professional atmosphere that prioritizes customer service alongside safety and security.
  • Work independently while adapting to various work environments, consistently demonstrating attentiveness and energy.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
  • Safeguard sensitive and confidential information.
  • Perform ongoing assessments of threats, risks, and vulnerabilities at assigned locations.
  • Exercise sound judgment and adaptability in response to changing priorities.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by implementing safety and security procedures and responding to emergencies.
  • Document and report all security incidents.
  • Complete additional tasks and special assignments as directed by management.
Qualifications
  • Provide credible references and documentation verifying eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Demonstrated professionalism in a customer service-oriented environment.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.
  • Capability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Reliable transportation to assigned locations.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Positive demeanor and punctuality.
  • Ownership of a smartphone for scheduling and timekeeping.
  • Experience in CPR, first aid, firefighting, and crowd management is preferred but not mandatory.
