Position Overview

The Security Officer role involves ensuring the safety and security of vital locations, personnel, vendors, visitors, and the general public. We are seeking Security Officers for full-time, part-time, and flexible positions across various shifts, including night and weekend availability. This role requires enforcing security protocols across one or multiple sites and collaborating with team members to mitigate potential risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish a visible security presence to deter potential threats.
  • Conduct fixed-post, mobile, or foot patrols while maintaining situational awareness.
  • Act as a first line of defense against active threats and unauthorized individuals.
  • Monitor for unusual conditions that may pose security or safety risks.
  • Manage access control and oversee entrances, exits, and surrounding areas.
  • Monitor vehicular and pedestrian traffic through roving patrols.
  • Identify and report violations of rules and regulations.
  • Maintain a professional environment that prioritizes customer service and safety.
  • Work independently while adapting to various work paces.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
  • Safeguard sensitive information and conduct ongoing assessments of security risks.
  • Respond to and document all security incidents.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Must provide credible references and documentation proving eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Demonstrated professionalism in a customer service-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.
  • Capacity to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
  • Basic computer skills are required.
  • A positive attitude and punctuality are essential.
  • Ownership of a smartphone for scheduling and timekeeping is mandatory.
  • Experience in CPR, first aid, firefighting, and crowd control is advantageous but not required.
