Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Investment Operations Specialist to join our team at First National Bank. As an Investment Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional service to our clients by assisting Investment Officers with various investment services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Monitor and process asset transfers, initial and subsequent funding of investment accounts, and follow up on any issues.
  • Implement initial and subsequent asset allocation and rebalancing trades, and execute buy or sell orders and rebalancing orders.
  • Process proposal amendments, monitor alerts, and annual reviews, and follow up on trade rejects and resolve all trade-related issues.
  • Monitor holdings for program eligibility and administer advisory accounts.
  • Participate in special projects as needed and perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Qualification as a registered representative (General Securities Representative, Series 7) or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • Basic computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Demonstrated analytical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information, confidentiality.
  • Ability to adhere to company, industry, and regulatory standards and requirements.
  • Work under pressure and perform several tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently or in groups.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
