Position Overview

This Security Officer role is crucial for ensuring the safety and security of essential sites, employees, vendors, visitors, and the general public. We are seeking Security Officers for full-time, part-time, and flexible positions across various shifts, including night shifts, with weekend availability required. The role involves enforcing security protocols across one or multiple sites and collaborating with team members to mitigate potential risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish a visible security presence to detect and deter potential threats.
  • Conduct various patrols while maintaining situational awareness and adhering to established protocols.
  • Serve as the first line of defense against active threats and unauthorized individuals.
  • Monitor for unusual conditions that may pose security or safety risks.
  • Manage access control and monitor entrances, exits, and surrounding areas.
  • Conduct traffic control as necessary through roving patrols.
  • Identify and report violations of rules and regulations.
  • Maintain a professional environment, ensuring high levels of customer service and safety.
  • Work independently while adapting to varying work paces, maintaining attentiveness and energy.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
  • Safeguard sensitive and confidential information.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of threats, risks, and vulnerabilities at assigned locations.
  • Exercise sound judgment and flexibility in response to shifting priorities.
  • Provide customer service by implementing safety and security procedures.
  • Respond to and document all security incidents.
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must provide credible references and documentation proving eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Demonstrated professionalism in a customer service-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.
  • Capability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
  • Basic computer skills are required.
  • A positive attitude and punctuality are essential.
  • Ownership of a smartphone for scheduling and timekeeping is required.
  • Experience in CPR, first aid, firefighting, and crowd control is preferred but not mandatory.
