POSITION OVERVIEW

Sustainability Partners is in search of an Infrastructure Program Coordinator in Hawaii. This individual will serve as the primary contact for clients during project execution and will oversee ongoing maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will possess an Engineering degree and have experience in construction, infrastructure, energy systems, or related disciplines. This role is vital for ensuring the successful operation of projects for both our clients and internal teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and assist with contractual documentation
  • Lead meetings with contractors and clients, either virtually or in person
  • Maintain continuous communication with all project stakeholders
  • Examine project drawings and specifications
  • Provide informed updates on project progress
  • Conduct site visits as necessary; must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
  • Identify and propose solutions for potential technical or procedural challenges
  • Oversee projects and coordinate team members to ensure task completion, maintain workflow, and meet deadlines
  • Monitor product orders with manufacturers and timelines
  • Participate in negotiations for extended warranties and maintenance contracts
  • Manage customer service requirements and proactively address service-related concerns
  • Collaborate daily with the SP Project Development team
  • Effectively engage with local vendor personnel
  • Coordinate the distribution and installation of assets at client locations
  • Act as a liaison between local contractors and SP for vendor agreements

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Engineering
  • 5-10 years of experience in construction, infrastructure, or related fields
  • Experience in the development of energy systems
  • Established relationships with solar and battery charging vendors and clients
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Effective interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Must reside in Hawaii
  • Able to travel as needed
