JOB TITLE: Construction Coordinator

SUMMARY: Oversee and coordinate construction activities involving various trades, engineers, and stakeholders within a semiconductor manufacturing setting.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure construction aligns with project timelines; identify, coordinate, and communicate specific tasks and plans for effective execution of project scope.
  • Act as the primary liaison between equipment owners and construction teams.
  • Manage documentation and construction prerequisites for project milestones.
  • Conduct site inspections of utility lines and systems during installation or preparation for demolition to ensure precision.
  • Facilitate and engage in the Request for Information (RFI) process to expedite responses and deliver quality solutions.
  • Maintain a professional and customer-focused demeanor in all interactions.
  • Encourage and uphold a collaborative team environment.
  • May undertake additional tasks outside of the typical responsibilities to support project success.
  • Address coordination challenges; manage and process work order changes or requests related to factory tool vendors and logistics as necessary.
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute construction management insights; engage all relevant parties to achieve solutions when required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • General understanding of construction sequencing based on current industry standards.
  • Familiarity with utility infrastructure in an industrial context.
  • Able to navigate and perform effectively in ambiguous situations.
  • Must be present on-site during trade activities to facilitate immediate issue resolution and escalate concerns as needed.
  • Prior experience in semiconductor, high-tech, or industrial construction is essential.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management is preferred, or a minimum of 5 years of direct experience in semiconductor trades and construction.
