Role Summary:

We are in search of dedicated and empathetic revenue cycle specialists to engage in the billing process and assist in data entry to ensure billing accuracy, compliance with regulations, and optimal revenue collection. This role involves close collaboration with the Billing Supervisor and addressing any concerns raised by the management team. The Revenue Cycle Specialist is responsible for processing cash payments, posting payer remittances, and conducting routine follow-ups on accounts receivable. Work is conducted under the general oversight of the Billing Supervisor, with performance evaluated based on the efficiency and accuracy of claim submissions and management of accounts receivable. The incumbent must operate independently while adhering to established policies and procedures.

The Revenue Cycle Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality information and support that enhances the overall service quality at Directions for Living. This position fosters positive interactions among staff, clients, and other key stakeholders by ensuring the accurate and timely collection, processing, and reporting of financial and compliance-related information.

As a provider of essential services, all employees at Directions for Living are expected to be prepared to deliver critical support and services to those we serve during emergencies, pandemics, or other disaster situations.
