As a Culinary Supervisor, you will:
- Conduct thorough inspections to select and utilize only the finest ingredients, including fresh produce, meats, and seafood, ensuring top-notch quality in every dish.
- Employ mathematical skills to accurately follow and adjust recipes, maintaining consistency in food preparation.
- Prepare and manage requisitions for kitchen supplies and food items necessary for daily operations.
- Organize staff schedules to guarantee optimal kitchen coverage while managing labor costs effectively.
- Oversee the proper receiving, storage, and rotation of food products, ensuring compliance with health regulations regarding labeling, dating, and storage practices.
- Develop, maintain, and update menu specifications, recipes, and production forecasts, ensuring all culinary standards are met.
- Monitor production flow and make necessary adjustments to adhere to cost control and quality assurance procedures.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained in excellent working condition, addressing any repair needs promptly.
- Follow all applicable Standard Operating Procedures to maintain a safe and efficient kitchen environment.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned, including special events, buffet presentations, and the creation of unique menus for promotions.
- Supervise the weekly completion of menus for specials and brunch offerings.
- Facilitate daily cleaning and inventory checks of storage areas and refrigeration units.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to innovate and enhance the culinary offerings.
- Ensure timely completion of performance evaluations for kitchen staff.
- Deliver exceptional service to guests, adhering to established customer service standards.
