Your Impact

  • Develop and implement both short-term and long-term operational strategies in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. Ensure prompt and effective corrective measures in case of any discrepancies.
  • Coordinate meal presentations that highlight the available menu options for customers.
  • Monitor the department's financial and operational performance, ensuring efficient management in accordance with company standards and market demands.
  • Support and apply Lean manufacturing principles within the department.
  • Optimize the allocation of human, technical, and material resources.
  • Ensure that departmental procedures comply with company standards and customer agreements.
  • Manage departmental costs effectively through strategic manpower planning, procurement, scheduling, and overtime management.
  • Maintain inventory levels that align with operational needs and budgetary constraints.
  • Foster a positive and proactive relationship with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to customer specifications, quality benchmarks, and regulatory standards, including FDA and HACCP guidelines.
  • Investigate and resolve customer quality concerns, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Participate in daily operational briefings to stay aligned with team objectives.
  • Strategically plan, organize, and oversee the food production department's daily operations, including scheduling, productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Guarantee timely and precise food preparation and catering for flights utilizing Variable Production Systems (VPS) and real-time information.
  • Ensure that your area of responsibility is effectively organized, staffed, and directed.
  • Embody the company's values and management principles within your department.
  • Plan, implement, and monitor the departmental budget, initiating corrective actions as needed.
  • Engage in and support company-led initiatives such as Global Quality Standards (GQS), HACCP, LSG Production Systems, and Employee Safety.

Qualifications We Seek

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Five to seven years of relevant operational experience is required.
  • Strong skills in presentation, communication, training, and interpersonal relations.
  • Ability to develop and guide team members to achieve desired outcomes and budgetary goals.
  • Experience with manpower planning and scheduling tools (e.g., VPS).
  • In-depth knowledge of FDA regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and HACCP guidelines.
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual abilities.
  • Proven track record of understanding and fulfilling customer expectations.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze product and labor cost variances.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other Windows-based applications.
