The Logistics Sales role is crucial for driving direct sales initiatives aimed at acquiring new clients in both domestic and international freight forwarding markets. This position involves engaging with potential and existing clients to promote our comprehensive solutions and services, spearheading business development efforts, and collaborating with project partners to enhance reseller programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business prospects within the freight forwarding and logistics sectors.
  • Advocate for the full range of company offerings related to import and export services to boost sales performance.
  • Achieve and surpass established sales targets and objectives.
  • Conduct market research to uncover new business opportunities and assess client needs.
  • Implement effective sales strategies and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Foster and maintain robust relationships with clients through proactive communication and exceptional service delivery.
  • Provide comprehensive support for sales inquiries and manage follow-up communications.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, including competitor activities and market dynamics.
  • Collaborate closely with the product and pricing teams, as well as international partners, to ensure accuracy in quotes and proposals.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in international freight forwarding or relevant logistics sales.
  • Experience with a leading global freight forwarding company is essential.
  • A Bachelor's Degree or higher in a business-related discipline is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of the domestic and international transportation landscape, including trucking, rail, air, and ocean freight.
  • Demonstrated success in sales, account development, and client prospecting.
  • Familiarity with digital freight forwarding platforms and operational processes.
  • Ability to cultivate trustworthy relationships with clients across all organizational levels.
  • Exceptional presentation and sales skills, with a keen attention to detail and follow-up.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% within the U.S.
