Role Overview

The Client Relationship Specialist will concentrate on mastering the fundamentals required to deliver Operational Excellence.

In this position, you will oversee the daily operations of both existing and new client accounts acquired by our sales team.

Your responsibilities will include load building, scheduling appointments, tracking shipments, providing timely updates to both internal and external stakeholders, and closing out loads.

It is essential to be detail-oriented, process-driven, customer-focused, efficient, proactive, and capable of independently managing operational tasks while also collaborating effectively across various departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the load board daily, ensuring accurate data entry in load building and scheduling, tracking, reviewing available loads, and closing out loads for optimal execution.
  • Maintain accuracy and timeliness while constructing loads for customer accounts.
  • Coordinate pickup and delivery appointments with shippers and consignees within your customer’s network.
  • Provide effective and timely communication with Carrier representatives and customer contacts regarding rescheduling pickups, deliveries, and obtaining accurate tracking updates.
  • Proactively inform customer contacts of any shipment delays.
Development Focus

Gain a thorough understanding of the customer’s committed lanes and determine when to accept or reject loads being offered by the customer.

Build a solid foundation of industry knowledge and Arrive operations while pursuing ongoing educational opportunities.

Continuously work on enhancing your relationships with customer contacts through timely and professional communication.

Collaborate with Business Development and Carrier teams to address issues and deliver exceptional customer service.

Evaluate how to maximize profitability with available freight by considering appointment times, flexibility, and other factors that influence rates.

Prioritize exceptions by coordinating with the Carrier team to provide timely updates to customers.

Work closely with management to identify any potential concerns regarding aging for your customer accounts.

Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated commitment and work ethic in academic or professional settings.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Capable of following verbal and written instructions and executing tasks confidently.
