About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our team at Myriad Genetics. As an Account Executive, you will play a critical role in selling our molecular diagnostic tests to obstetricians, gynecologists, and other healthcare providers in your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Business Development: Sell the value of our molecular diagnostic tests to healthcare providers, highlighting the benefits of our tests in guiding personalized medical management decisions and improving patient outcomes.
  • Training and Education: Provide in-service training to office staff on our tests and interpretation, ensuring they are equipped to effectively utilize our products.
  • Specimen Acquisition: Work with local phlebotomy providers to streamline specimen acquisition, ensuring seamless delivery of our tests.
  • Marketing and Outreach: Deliver local talks and arrange peer-to-peer programs to educate groups on our products and services.
  • Health Plan Coordination: Coordinate with local health plans to ensure our tests are covered and reimbursed.
  • Expense Management: Meet expense budget and administrative requirements, ensuring efficient use of company resources.
  • Territory Planning: Utilize Territory Planning Tools to develop strategic plans, including target accounts, frequency of calls, and messaging.
  • CRM Management: Update Salesforce (CRM) to track targeting, frequency, messaging, and strategic/tactical information.
  • Regional Meetings: Attend regional meetings and Women's Health conferences as planned.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field of study, such as biology, chemistry, or a related life science.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in the healthcare selling arena, with a focus on women's health bio-pharma, molecular diagnostics, or capital equipment.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven track record of success in sales and business development.
  • Product Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of our molecular diagnostic tests and the disease states they address.
  • Travel: Ability to travel and do overnights as needed, with a valid driver's license and a safe and satisfactory driving record.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and CRM software, preferably Salesforce.
