POSITION OVERVIEW

The HR Administrative Coordinator will undertake various administrative responsibilities to enhance the functionality and efficiency of the Human Resources division within Shape Corp.

This position demands a quick learner who is eager to engage in diverse projects and follow guidance. The HR Coordinator will possess a foundational understanding of Human Resources methodologies and HRIS platforms. Strong written and verbal communication abilities are essential for success in this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:
  • Maintaining precise and current human resource documentation, files, and records.
  • Responding to common inquiries from candidates and staff regarding standard policies, benefits, recruitment processes, etc.; escalating more complex inquiries to senior HR personnel or management.
  • Ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of human resource files and records.
  • Conducting regular audits of HR documentation to verify that all necessary materials are collected and organized appropriately.
  • Providing administrative support to the HR team.
  • Facilitating or assisting with the onboarding and orientation of new hires.
  • Supporting the planning and execution of special initiatives such as benefits enrollment, company-wide meetings, employee recognition activities, holiday celebrations, and retirement events.
  • Playing a vital role on the Wellness Committee.
  • Preparing invoices and expense reports for processing.
  • Coordinating travel arrangements as necessary.
  • Assisting with various HR projects as required.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance is a critical aspect of this role.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY ROLE

This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Travel is anticipated to be less than 5%.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Strong written communication, grammar, and proofreading skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Familiarity with or the capacity to quickly learn HR information systems (HRIS), with preference for UKG experience or similar platforms.
  • A demonstrated interest in Human Resources through relevant coursework or previous employment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
CERTIFICATIONS:

No certifications are required.

COMPENSATION:

Hourly wage ranges from $22 to $30, depending on experience.
