We are currently in search of a meticulous and skilled Billing and Collections Coordinator. This role is essential within our finance team, responsible for managing invoicing processes and various accounts receivable tasks. The successful candidate will ensure precise billing, address payment issues, oversee collections, and maintain accurate client records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice Generation: Confirm sales documentation, create, and distribute invoices for both individual projects and ongoing services. Address client inquiries regarding invoices as necessary.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate and rectify discrepancies between received payments and issued invoices.
- Data Management: Update client information based on communications via phone, email, and collaboration with colleagues.
- Payment Handling: Process and record checks, credit card transactions, and cash payments, including adjustments as needed.
- Collections Oversight: Administer collection efforts, including outreach to clients with overdue accounts.
- Credit Assessment: Evaluate and process new client credit applications.
- CRM Maintenance: Assist in updating client information within the CRM system.
- Administrative Support: Provide assistance with phone inquiries, document matching, and filing tasks.
- Legal Document Oversight: Manage documentation related to legal compliance and client agreements.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in finance or a related field, or equivalent experience in accounting.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity; familiarity with various accounting functions is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and database management; willingness to learn new software systems.
- Exceptional organizational capabilities.
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
