Engaging in age-appropriate and ability-appropriate activities is essential to enhance the client's overall quality of life.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver non-medical, in-home support for clients with developmental disabilities.
  • Assist clients with personal care and daily living activities, which may include dressing, bathing, grooming, feeding, and hygiene.
  • Engage clients in activities suitable for their age and abilities.
  • Ensure the safety of clients in their homes while their parents or guardians are away.
  • Prepare meals and snacks as needed.
  • Document and report any incidents that occur during care.
  • Respond promptly and responsibly in emergency situations.
