POSITION OVERVIEW:
In the role of Customer Support Specialist, you will manage incoming calls for various specialty departments within our medical facilities. Your responsibilities will include scheduling appointments, responding to patient questions, and ensuring a seamless patient experience by proactively addressing needs and delivering prompt service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Address inquiries and coordinate appointment scheduling
- Effectively utilize healthcare management systems and software
- Manage call volumes with efficiency
- Foster positive interactions with patients and fellow staff members
- Exhibit a strong commitment to Stamford Health's mission and values in patient care
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- 1-2 years of experience in a Call Center or Customer Service role
- Prior experience in healthcare scheduling is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Must be adaptable, a collaborative team member, and quick to learn
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to multitask and accommodate variable work schedules
