Key Challenges You Will Address

In-store digital advertising is gaining traction, yet it remains less validated and measured compared to traditional advertising methods. The Senior Media Analyst will play a pivotal role in bridging this gap by leveraging internal data and collaborating with leading measurement partners to demonstrate the effectiveness of in-store advertising and The Ladders' solutions.

This position will work closely with our Marketing, Media Sales, and Data teams to ensure we possess the necessary data and insights to effectively market our inventory. Additionally, you will represent The Ladders' measurement capabilities to external stakeholders, including agencies and brands, through various channels such as customer interactions, blog contributions, and industry events.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in media measurement, a relentless curiosity, and a strong commitment to making a significant impact.
Responsibilities

  • Conducting and coordinating campaign measurement studies using both internal and external data sources.
  • Designing and implementing consumer insights studies to assist our Marketing team in understanding shopper behavior and positioning.
  • Demonstrating The Ladders' measurement capabilities during sales presentations and industry events.
  • Identifying and evaluating new strategic measurement partnership opportunities.
  • Gathering key customer insights and segments relevant to advertisers, sourcing additional data from third-party providers, and collaborating with our Data team to integrate new datasets.
  • Creating data visualizations, writing insightful blog posts, and advocating for the value of in-store advertising and The Ladders' solutions.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive catalog of relevant third-party research.

If you have experience in larger organizations with limited scope or in smaller firms with less complexity, this role offers a significant opportunity for advancement.
  • You will have substantial ownership of our media measurement partnerships and strategy.
  • You will collaborate closely with our Marketing, Sales, Product, and Data teams, as well as external partners, to enhance our measurement strategy.
Qualifications

Relevant Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in advertising analytics.
  • A strong analytics background, with a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • Experience in conducting consumer surveys and research.
  • Experience in start-ups and agencies is a plus.
Soft Skills
  • A passion for transforming complex data into compelling narratives and visualizations.
  • A high degree of intellectual curiosity, often questioning underlying assumptions.
  • Experience presenting findings and insights directly to clients, advertisers, or agencies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Excel (GSheets) and PowerPoint (GSlides, Canva).
  • Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, D3).
  • Familiarity with methodologies such as A/B testing, Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA), sales lift studies, and brand lift studies to quantify advertising campaign effectiveness.
  • Experience with SQL and R is a plus.
Compensation

We are committed to transparency in our compensation practices, utilizing a market-based formula to ensure consistency across roles and experience levels. We publish our compensation data internally for our team. The annual salaries for this position are as follows:
  • Level 4: Sr. Media Analyst I - $152,500
  • Level 5: Sr. Media Analyst II - $167,500
