POSITION OVERVIEW

We are in search of a proficient Media Acquisition Specialist to oversee the negotiation and acquisition of advertising inventory for our clientele. Your main goal will be to guarantee that media strategies are executed with precision and effectiveness, ensuring that advertising successfully reaches intended audiences through designated media platforms.

In this position, you will need to excel in negotiation, demonstrate strong analytical skills, and build trust and rapport with both clients and media representatives. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Media Acquisition Specialist, your duties will include strategic media purchasing, campaign enhancement, budget oversight, vendor negotiations, performance evaluation, and auditing supervision. By utilizing your expertise, you will play a vital role in the success of our clients' advertising initiatives while fostering growth for the organization.

KEY FUNCTIONS

Negotiation and Procurement:

  • Negotiate pricing and agreements with media suppliers to secure optimal rates and placements.
  • Acquire advertising space across various media channels, including digital, television, radio, print, and outdoor.

Campaign Oversight:

  • Supervise and manage ongoing advertising initiatives, ensuring they are executed as intended and meet performance criteria.
  • Modify media strategies and purchasing tactics based on performance metrics and market dynamics.

Financial Management:

  • Effectively manage and allocate the media budget, ensuring all expenditures remain within the approved limits.
  • Provide regular updates on campaign expenditures and outcomes.

Team Development and Leadership:

  • Train, mentor, and guide both new and existing members of the media buying team.
  • Encourage a collaborative and supportive atmosphere to enhance team performance and growth.

  • Analytical Thinking: The capacity to analyze complex data, evaluate advertising strategies, and make informed decisions is crucial for success in this role. Media buyers with strong analytical skills can navigate the dynamic media landscape effectively, ensuring that advertising campaigns are strategically aligned with clients' goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated experience as a Media Buyer or in a similar capacity; experience in digital media is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with media purchasing, planning, and research methodologies.
  • Interest in staying updated on advertising and media trends.
  • Proficient understanding of media analytics tools and software.
  • Ability to excel in a remote work environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related discipline.
