Position Overview:
As a Senior Analyst in Market Finance at Humana, you will be an integral part of our dedicated team, focusing on enhancing health outcomes through financial analysis.

The Senior Market Finance Analyst is responsible for gathering, evaluating, and disseminating market data, linking operational efficiency and member satisfaction to financial results.

This role collaborates extensively with various departments including Finance, Provider Contracting, Provider Engagement, Actuarial, and Medicare Risk Adjustment, all aimed at supporting Humana's mission to assist providers in promoting optimal health for our members.


Key Responsibilities:


Utilize advanced tools such as Excel, SQL, SAS, and other platforms to extract data, develop essential reporting metrics, create data visualizations, and conduct thorough data analysis.

Deliver clear insights to business stakeholders.
Collaborate with Regional Leadership to transform financial and non-financial data into succinct, actionable information that informs strategic decision-making.
Design and maintain data models for various ad-hoc analyses to facilitate informed choices.
Monitor utilization reports and act as a primary responder to emerging trends.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of 2 years' experience with SAS or SQL
At least 2 years' experience in data analysis
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with team members

Preferred Qualifications:
MBA, CPA, or background in Actuarial Science
Experience with PowerBI or Tableau

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week

Compensation:

The salary range provided reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time employment. Actual pay may vary based on geographic location and individual qualifications.

Compensation range: $76,800 - $105,800 annually. This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus incentive plan.
