Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the financial planning and budgeting cycle, which includes the development of financial models, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Examine financial data and performance indicators to provide insights and suggestions for enhancing financial performance.
  • Collaborate with various departments to collect and analyze financial data, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Generate comprehensive financial reports, presentations, and variance analyses for senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Track and assess financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Create and maintain financial planning tools and systems to support forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Offer strategic insights and recommendations based on financial analysis, market trends, and business performance.
  • Assist in formulating long-term financial plans and strategies to promote business growth and profitability.
  • Support the preparation of board reports, financial presentations, and strategic planning documents.
  • Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Master's in Finance) is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, or a comparable role.
  • Strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting methodologies.
  • Familiarity with financial planning software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion).
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of effectively conveying financial information to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other financial analysis tools.
  • Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) is preferred.
