Position Overview

The McDonald's North America Impact Team is in search of a Community Engagement Manager to support our initiatives across various regions.

This role will report directly to the Director of Government Relations.

Key Responsibilities

As the Community Engagement Manager, you will:

  • Lead initiatives that enhance community involvement and align with McDonald's strategic goals in your designated area.
  • Identify and cultivate partnerships that foster positive community relations and bolster the brand's reputation.
  • Act as the representative for McDonald's, building strong connections with influential community leaders, civic organizations, and charitable entities.
  • Work collaboratively with state and local Government Relations Directors and external lobbyists to develop cohesive advocacy and community engagement strategies.
  • Engage with McDonald's Owner/Operators to devise strategies that create a beneficial impact in the communities we serve.
  • Monitor and assess the success of community engagement efforts, consistently gathering insights from key stakeholders for ongoing enhancement.
  • In collaboration with the Global Impact and North American Impact teams, formulate strategies that positively influence brand perception and address policy matters relevant to McDonald's, particularly in relation to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Community priorities.

This position is remote; however, candidates must reside in California.
