Salary Range: The compensation for this position is between $96,230 and $122,690 annually.

Position Overview: The McDonald's North America Impact Team is looking for a Manager of Community Relations to support our field offices. This role will report directly to the Director of Government Relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead initiatives that enhance community engagement in the designated region.
  • Identify and cultivate partnerships that positively influence our communities and strengthen our brand image.
  • Act as the community affairs representative, building relationships with key community leaders and organizations.
  • Work closely with state and local government relations teams to align advocacy and community engagement strategies.
  • Collaborate with McDonald's Owner/Operators to implement strategies that foster positive community impacts.
  • Assess and report on the effectiveness of community engagement efforts, gathering insights for continuous improvement.
  • In partnership with Global Impact teams, develop strategies that enhance brand reputation and address policy matters related to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Community priorities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of experience in local government, non-profit, or community engagement.
  • Demonstrated success in community outreach, public relations, or community development.
  • Strong skills in project management, event planning, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proven capacity to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to create and implement strategic plans that address community needs.
  • History of developing innovative solutions to community challenges.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Deep understanding of the social, economic, and political dynamics within communities.
