Project Overview: We are currently engaged in a significant initiative aimed at establishing a robust grievance redressal mechanism. This project is designed to promote transparency and accountability in public service delivery, ensuring that citizens have a direct channel to voice their concerns.

Key Objectives: The primary goal of this initiative is to facilitate open communication between the community and the highest levels of government. By creating a platform for citizens to express their issues, we aim to ensure that their voices are heard and acted upon.

Position Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Community Engagement Officer to join our dynamic team. This role is vital for the successful execution of our community programs. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational and communication skills, a comprehensive understanding of local governance, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Field Operations: Oversee and coordinate field activities, including data gathering, community outreach, and program monitoring in assigned regions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with local authorities, community leaders, and partner organizations to ensure cohesive support for our initiatives.
  • Data Management: Accurately collect and manage data related to program activities, ensuring timely reporting and analysis.
  • Training and Development: Facilitate training sessions for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports on field activities, challenges, and progress for management review.
  • Communication Skills: Exhibit strong communication abilities, with proficiency in Bengali, Hindi, and English.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate strong skills in MS Office applications.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to program guidelines and policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in community engagement or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of local governance and public service processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel and work in various communities.
  • Fluency in Bengali, Hindi, and English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Compensation: Competitive monthly salary with additional benefits.

Contract Duration: This is a full-time paid position.
