Key Responsibilities:
Sentinel Offender Services is in search of a skilled Splunk Solutions Architect to enhance our innovative team of IT specialists.

As a Splunk Solutions Architect with over 5 years of practical experience, you will be instrumental in architecting, deploying, and refining our clients' Splunk infrastructures.

You will engage in advanced projects, delivering critical insights, and ensuring the effectiveness of our clients' cybersecurity and operational oversight requirements.


This role allows for remote work; however, occasional onsite support may be required.


Required Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of expertise in designing, deploying, and managing Splunk systems.
Possession of Splunk certifications, such as Splunk Certified Architect or Splunk Certified Admin, is highly advantageous.

Lead the deployment of Splunk Enterprise, Enterprise Security, and IT Service Intelligence (ITSI) tailored to specific needs, ensuring optimal data collection, parsing, and indexing.

Establish robust monitoring and alerting mechanisms within Splunk to proactively manage issues and incidents.
Implement and oversee security measures within the Splunk framework, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Integrate Splunk with various IT tools, systems, and data sources to create a comprehensive view of data and enhance correlation and analytical capabilities.

Develop customized Splunk applications, dashboards, and queries to fulfill unique business needs and maximize the utility of Splunk.
Familiarity with ITIL, DevOps, and agile methodologies is beneficial.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for bespoke Splunk application development.
Collaborate with other IT professionals, including network and security specialists, to ensure Splunk aligns with broader technological initiatives.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities, along with the capacity to engage directly with clients.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
The candidate must possess a vehicle, as this role necessitates travel between locations and the transport of equipment.
A valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required.
Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
Demonstrate a proactive and positive attitude.
