TEKsystems is in search of two skilled Cloud Engineers to contribute to a project-based initiative. These positions will play a critical role in developing Terraform scripts as we design disaster recovery (DR) environments and conduct tests. Candidates must possess a robust background in disaster recovery alongside expertise in Azure security and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Azure cloud operations, providing support across various application environments, focusing on compute health, monitoring, automated deployment, and data management.
  • Engage in the implementation of Azure Enablement, collaborating with team members on high-level designs.
  • Utilize over 5 years of experience in Azure Cloud and general cloud technologies, with a focus on Azure Virtual Machines, Kubernetes Services (AKS), Azure Key Vault, and other Azure services.

Daily Tasks

  • Work with blob storage, MongoDB, and MS SQL database architectures.
  • Implement and enhance CI/CD processes using Terraform and other automation tools.
  • Support API-based applications and containerization, including Kubernetes.
  • Execute disaster recovery strategies for cloud-hosted applications.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards in all operational tasks.
  • Participate in troubleshooting across applications, middleware, infrastructure, and networks.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of existing software architectures and operational planning.
