Core Responsibilities

The following duties are essential to the role. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary:

  • Oversee and manage contractual obligations for assigned projects, ensuring that all key personnel are effectively positioned and meet their deadlines.
  • Control financial elements of project contracts, including procurement of materials, initiation and management of Change Orders, and thorough cost analysis to maintain budget compliance.
  • Ensure timely ordering and delivery of project materials, equipment, and tools.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and various departments to facilitate project timelines and successful completion.
  • Prepare detailed project estimate packages for small to medium-sized jobs under the guidance of senior project managers.
  • Establish, monitor, and enforce project objectives, procedures, and performance standards in alignment with company policies.
  • Generate and present monthly progress reports or as required by upper management.
  • Represent the company in all relevant project meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with safety plans and regulations among site personnel as dictated by company policy and contractual agreements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management, or equivalent combination of education and field experience.
  • Proficient understanding of construction contract terminology.
  • Knowledge of electrical design and estimation processes is essential.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics is required.
  • Comprehensive understanding of industry practices, standards, and their implications on project execution.
  • Strong grasp of company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are mandatory.
  • Familiarity with CONEST estimating software or willingness to learn is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines is essential.

Accountability

  • Collaborate with field Superintendents to ensure personnel meet performance expectations.
