Salesforce Application Engineer

Flexco, a prominent global manufacturer, is in search of a proficient developer who excels in communication and is dedicated to customer satisfaction for the role of Salesforce Developer. The selected individual will collaborate closely with the solution architect and product manager to create applications and programs that enhance the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and sustain applications, programs, and integrations aligned with the customer experience value stream, as outlined in the product roadmap. This includes solutions for Sales Cloud, B2B Commerce, Youreka, and Boomi.

Experience Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of pertinent experience in software development.
  • Proficiency in front-end development utilizing Salesforce tools.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is required.
  • Experience in integration development using Boomi or similar platforms.

Technical Duties:

  • Conduct analysis, design, and development of applications and programs in partnership with the solution architect and product manager.
  • Write, translate, and code applications and programs according to specified requirements and user needs.
  • Create programming scripts to enhance the functionality and appearance of applications.
  • Assist in the deployment of new programs and enhancements to existing applications.
  • Install and configure necessary components.
  • Diagnose and resolve performance issues within applications.
  • Develop, code, install, test, debug, and document applications using appropriate tools.
  • Prepare documentation to detail program development, logic, coding, and corrections.
  • Provide support for applications and programs.
  • Conduct unit testing on applications and programs.
  • Engage in user testing, training, and documentation efforts.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with users and stakeholders.
  • Ability to organize thoughts and set achievable goals.
  • Understanding of group dynamics and effective team-building techniques.
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning UI customization and API development, Salesforce Sales Cloud, and Salesforce B2B Commerce.
  • Familiarity with Boomi or similar integration tools.
  • Knowledge of Youreka is a plus.
