Description:
1. Work in the administration of the new DPS environment
a. This could include restore requests, new client configuration, and general support
2. Provide informal training to customer on the new hardware and software (DD9900, Avamar gen5a, CR, CS)
a. Focus on new features, operational best practices, and methods of reporting
3. Identify areas for improvement within backup policies/groups/configuration of DPS environment
a. Document the suggestions and implement enhancements approved by customer
4. Ensure code currency of DPS products and all client plug-ins
5. Open SRs and work with Dell Support as issues arise
6. Ensure proper reporting, call home, email alerts, and registration of all DPS products
7. Verify networking paths and network configuration of DPS products
a. Run tests using system tools to ensure ports are opened/closed as expected
b. Traffic is routing using appropriate ports at proper speeds
c. Networking best practices are being utilized (ifgroups, no data over mgt, etc.)
8. Participate and assist customer with any recovery/DR/CR testing or dry-runs
a. Including suggesting procedural changes, and documenting results
9. Provide support for project related implementation tasks as directed by project Architect and PM
10. Provide weekly updates to DPS Account Team"
