About the Role

Envisioneering, Inc. is a leading provider of mission support and technology development services to the US national defense sector. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior FPGA Design Engineer to join our team in the Northern VA. / D.C. area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop signal processing algorithms on Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) and Digital Signal Processors (DSPs)
  • Implement signal processing algorithms for Electronic Warfare (EW) systems
  • Develop and implement internal processor interfaces in FPGA logic, including SPI, I2C, Ethernet, SDR, DDR
  • Implement FPGA drivers for microprocessors in C and C++
  • Design and implement module-level and chip-level self-checking test benches for verifying complex signal processing systems
  • Interface with wideband and narrowband RF systems
  • Verify signal processing systems in laboratory and field environments
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in an electrical engineering field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the design and development of signal processing algorithms on FPGAs and DSPs
  • Expert level experience with Verilog 2001, VHDL 2008, C, C++, and Matlab
  • Masters of Science or Engineering in Electrical Engineering
