Position Overview

Salary: $16-$21 per hour, based on experience.

As a member of the Foundations Supportive Care Team, you can expect:

Desired Qualifications:

  • Dependable, self-motivated individuals with relevant experience who are eager to grow within our organization. This role will initially be part-time, transitioning to full-time.
  • Comfort in working with high-functioning adults with disabilities to promote their independence.
  • Strong technological proficiency.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others, demonstrating excellent communication and supervisory skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster and maintain positive, healthy relationships with residents.
  • Encourage and support independent living by assisting with meal preparation, medication management, modeling appropriate social behaviors, and running errands.
  • Ensure the safety of residents and the physical environment.
  • Collaborate with the resident's interdisciplinary team to ensure services align with their preferences.
  • Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as support is needed during these times.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; a college degree in a human services field is preferred.
  • At least one year of experience working with vulnerable populations.
  • Ability to pass state and federal background checks.
  • Acceptable driving record that meets insurance criteria.
  • Willingness to attend required training sessions.
