Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver - Community Support Specialist to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will provide assistance and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in community-based settings. Your role will involve working closely with our clinical staff to support therapeutic and behavioral plans, and providing guidance on daily living skills, personal care, and community participation.

Responsibilities
  • Provide assistance and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in community-based settings
  • Work closely with clinical staff to support therapeutic and behavioral plans
  • Assist with daily living skills, including meal preparation, medication administration, and personal care
  • Provide guidance on community participation, household budgeting, exercise, nutrition, and vocational responsibilities
  • Support individuals with living skills, such as personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Six months of experience in human services preferred
  • Valid driver's license in good standing
  • Successful clearance of background checks
  • Reliable, responsible attitude
