Senior Manager Corporate Strategy and Business Development

PepGen is a clinical-stage biotechnology company advancing oligonucleotide therapies to treat severe neuromuscular and neurological diseases. We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager/Associate Director Corporate Strategy and New Product Planning to support our Head of Corporate Strategy.
About the RoleThis is a challenging opportunity for an experienced professional to develop competitive and market analyses, supporting our current and future pipeline. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate strategy, new product planning, and/or business development roles in pharma, biotech, or strategy consulting focused in biopharma.
Responsibilities- Develop strategic analyses to identify new indications and platform expansion opportunities.
- Conduct scientific, clinical, commercial, and strategic analyses to develop business cases for Go/No-Go decisions on platform expansion investments and new diseases for the Enhanced Oligonucleotide Delivery (EDO) platform
- Support target Product Profile (TPP) development for pipeline programs and conduct primary and secondary market research as needed.
- Develop revenue forecast models for pipeline programs
- Support financing and business development activities, including setting up and managing data rooms and conducting deal analyses for in-licensing and out-licensing opportunities
- Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Life Sciences with 5+ years of experience in corporate strategy, new product planning, and/or business development roles in pharma, biotech, or strategy consulting focused in biopharma
- Strong knowledge of market trends and competitive landscapes in biopharma industry
- Skilled in reviewing and synthesizing scientific, clinical, and market data related to therapeutic areas of focus at PepGen
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Adept at working cross-functionally, building and managing relationships with peers and senior leaders
